For 15 years, Michigan Collegiate Job Fair has maintained its excellence through continued efforts to get feedback from participants. This has included collecting evaluations during MCJF and follow-up surveys after each event. Participants are asked questions like How many companies/candidates did you speak to? They are also given the opportunity to comment on their experiences. The following are some of their discoveries and observations:

~ I got a lead on a company with entry-level positions that was not present.

~  Clarified what I want to do. learned about companies that hire Statisticians.

~  I realized how easy it is to interview with a company.

~  I found some employers to be very friendly and some to be rude once you told them your major.

~ This is our fifth fair and we have found them to be an excellent recruiting venue. We have hired 4 candidates in the last year from contacts at this job fair with many other receiving consideration.
