Want to improve your chances of being remembered at MCJF?

MCJF is looking for active, enthusiastic student organizations (preferably with professional associations) to assist with a variety of activities the day of the event. In the past, volunteers have participated in MCJF by serving refreshments, assisting recruiters during registration, and monitoring perimeter areas. MCJF recognizes that these efforts have improved the experience for all participants.

MCJF is a statewide job fair in which your members network with  over 120 companies with career opportunities in areas of Business, Engineering, Sciences, Liberal Arts, Human Services, and Allied Health (Majors Reference Key). Now in MCJF's 14th year, over 43,000 graduates and alumni have utilized this service. It is sponsored by Eastern Michigan University and promoted throughout the state and surrounding areas by approximately 100 colleges and universities.

Volunteer Guidelines

Volunteers have always been a valuable service provided at MCJF. Organizations like Society of Human Resources and Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers have networked at MCJF since its beginning. The Volunteer Program was started in 1999 to more formally recognize these and other groups' efforts. The program provides a structure that meets MCJF’s needs of service while allowing organization members flexibility to make full use of the advantages of volunteering.
